Our Ryder Racing Oil Drain Plug housing is constructed from CNC billet 6061 T6 hardened alloy, by using an interference fit we have centered a machined Neodymium Magnet which provides an extended safety measure to your engine. 

How? Our magnetic oil drain plugs trap harmful metallic elements from micron level that float in the engine oil, this engine oil later settles at the bottom of the oil pan when not driving. The metallic particles will also remain on the plug until the next oil change which also reduces the amount of load the engine oil filter. This provides a reduction in both contamination and friction while all your engine internals are operating, for those heavily salted areas we have anodized our plugs for added protection and provide a genuine Subaru crush washer. The oil drain bolt is also laser marked with our trademark boxer logo.
